Anorexia kills
Becoming anorexic requires years of obsessive and destructive thinking. Anorexia demands absolute, single-minded attention. Do you hate yourself, feel ashamed, embarrassed, guilty, dirty and anxious? If you don't, you soon will. Your self-confidence will be hammered into the ground on a daily basis.  Don't worry, you will get used to it. After a while you won't even care about how you feel, if you have any friends, or if you are losing your life. But there is a tiny part of your mind that this disorder can't control, you still maintain the logical part of your mind. Are you ready to battle?

Do you still want to become anorexic? Please be aware of the facts:
  • Malnutrition can cause permanent damage to your reproductive organs, which could prevent you from having children in the future.
  • Starvation can damage vital organs such as the brain and heart.
  • You will feel constantly sick, tired, cold and hungry.
  • Be prepared to get acquainted with insomnia. Long, sleepless nights lie ahead of you.
  • You will become introverted and anti-social.
  • Your mind will declare war upon itself and attack, hurt and confuse you. You won't be able to stop your self-destruvtive behavior.
  • Do you want to wake up one day and realize how much time you have wasted?
  • Anorexia/bulimia is slow suicide, yet you may feel powerless to stop it.

Anorexia has the highest mortality rate of all mental disorders. A woman with anorexia is 12 times more likely to die than a woman her age without an eating disorder. Individuals with bulimia risk severe electrolyte imbalances, kidney disturbances, heart problems, and other serious life threatening medical complications.
